ECG debunks load shedding exercise in Accra from October to December

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has debunked claims of commencing a load shedding exercise in some parts of Accra from October to December 2021.

It said it had no plans of commencing power outages, as such plans would be effectively communicated to the public and its customers.

The Managing Director of ECG, Mr Kwame Agyeman-Badu said this at a press conference in Accra on Wednesday (October 6, 2021).

Insecurity: Army launches exercise Golden Dawn in South-East

In view of the rising security challenges in the South-East zone, the Nigerian Army, on Monday flagged-off ‘Exercise Golden Dawn’.

The new military operation was flagged-off by the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lt. Gen. Farouk Yahaya, who was on a visit to the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu.
